Un peu tardivement, sans doute. Mais entre la fatigue post-course et un d\u00e9calage horaire plus coriace que pr\u00e9vu, il fallait dig\u00e9rer avant d\u2019analyser. Et comme souvent sur marathon, c\u2019est \u00e0 froid que les enseignements sont les plus int\u00e9ressants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Difficile de ne pas commencer par un constat simple : tout \u00e9tait r\u00e9uni pour vivre une course parfaite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La m\u00e9t\u00e9o, d\u2019abord, presque id\u00e9ale pour performer. Ni trop chaude, ni trop froide, avec cette l\u00e9g\u00e8re fra\u00eecheur qui accompagne les premiers kilom\u00e8tres et laisse esp\u00e9rer un chrono solide. Le parcours ensuite, r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour \u00eatre l\u2019un des plus roulants du circuit des World Marathon Majors. \u00c0 Tokyo, on court vite. Tr\u00e8s vite m\u00eame. Les longues lignes droites, le d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 quasi inexistant et une organisation millim\u00e9tr\u00e9e cr\u00e9ent un terrain de jeu redoutablement efficace pour aller chercher une performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais r\u00e9duire ce marathon \u00e0 ses qualit\u00e9s \u201cchronom\u00e9triques\u201d serait une erreur. Tokyo est aussi une claque visuelle et \u00e9motionnelle. On traverse une ville fascinante, entre modernit\u00e9 et traditions, gratte-ciels et quartiers plus intimistes. Et surtout, il y a cette ambiance. Une foule dense, respectueuse, mais incroyablement pr\u00e9sente. Moins d\u00e9monstrative que sur certains marathons europ\u00e9ens, mais profond\u00e9ment engag\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et puis, il y avait un \u00e9l\u00e9ment qui change tout : mes enfants sur le parcours. Leur pr\u00e9sence transforme la course. Elle donne un suppl\u00e9ment d\u2019\u00e2me, une \u00e9nergie diff\u00e9rente. Dans ces moments-l\u00e0, le marathon d\u00e9passe largement le cadre sportif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Une course ma\u00eetris\u00e9e\u2026 jusqu\u2019au 30e kilom\u00e8tre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur le plan de la gestion, les sensations ont longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 excellentes. Le rythme est en place, les jambes r\u00e9pondent, les voyants sont au vert. Le passage au 30e kilom\u00e8tre valide m\u00eame un record personnel sur cette distance. Un indicateur fort : la pr\u00e9paration est bonne, la strat\u00e9gie semble fonctionner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est souvent l\u00e0 que le marathon devient cruel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Car malgr\u00e9 une volont\u00e9 claire de bien s\u2019alimenter, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du terrain est toute autre. Sur le papier, tout est ma\u00eetris\u00e9 : ravitaillement anticip\u00e9, produits test\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019entra\u00eenement, plan nutritionnel structur\u00e9. Mais dans l\u2019effort, chaque geste devient plus compliqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand il faut pr\u00e8s de trois kilom\u00e8tres pour r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 manger une barre ou une compote, le probl\u00e8me n\u2019est plus th\u00e9orique. Il devient m\u00e9canique. M\u00e2cher, avaler, respirer, maintenir l\u2019<a href=\"\/blog\/allure-et-vitesse-la-difference-2324.html\"target=\"_top\" title=\"Allure ou vitesse\" >allure<\/a>\u2026 tout entre en conflit. Ce fameux mur, que l\u2019on conna\u00eet, que l\u2019on anticipe\u2026 mais qui surprend toujours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&rsquo;un coup, le r\u00e9servoir semble vide, je suis l&rsquo;ombre de moi-m\u00eame alors que quelques minutes avant tout all\u00e9 bien. Les jambes deviennent plus lourdes, l\u2019allure se d\u00e9lite, l\u2019effort devient disproportionn\u00e9. \u00c0 ce moment-l\u00e0, ce n\u2019est plus une question de cardio ou de motivation. C\u2019est un d\u00e9ficit \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique qui se paie imm\u00e9diatement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le contraste est d\u2019autant plus marqu\u00e9 que la premi\u00e8re partie de course \u00e9tait fluide, presque facile. C\u2019est souvent le pi\u00e8ge des parcours rapides : ils incitent \u00e0 exploiter pleinement son potentiel\u2026 parfois un peu trop t\u00f4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au final, je finis juste un peu au dessus de la barre des 10km\/h de moyenne (4h11) alors que le rythme des 30 premiers kilom\u00e8tres devait m&rsquo;amener vers 3h50 environ&#8230; ce n&rsquo;est que partie remise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Un axe de progression clair : la nutrition en course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u2019il y a un enseignement majeur \u00e0 tirer de ce marathon, il est sans ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 : la gestion de l\u2019alimentation en course doit devenir une priorit\u00e9 d\u2019entra\u00eenement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas seulement en termes de choix de produits, mais surtout en termes de capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 les consommer efficacement \u00e0 allure marathon. Cela implique un travail sp\u00e9cifique :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>habituer l\u2019organisme \u00e0 s\u2019alimenter en courant, \u00e0 intensit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e<\/li><li>tester diff\u00e9rentes textures (liquide, gels, compotes) pour limiter la contrainte de mastication<\/li><li>structurer les prises de mani\u00e8re plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8re pour \u00e9viter les retards d\u2019apport<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Car au-del\u00e0 de la th\u00e9orie nutritionnelle, il y a une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 souvent sous-estim\u00e9e : manger en courant est une comp\u00e9tence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Une exp\u00e9rience marquante, malgr\u00e9 tout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Au final, difficile de ne pas retenir le positif. Un marathon r\u00e9ussi dans l\u2019ensemble, une exp\u00e9rience forte, un environnement exceptionnel et des bases solides pour progresser encore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tokyo reste une course \u00e0 part. Par son organisation, par son atmosph\u00e8re, par ce m\u00e9lange unique entre performance et \u00e9motion. Il vient en conclusion d&rsquo;un voyage de 2 semaines dans le pays du soleil levant. Un pays que j&rsquo;adore pour tout un tas de raisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le point important c&rsquo;est que je valide ma 5\u00e8me \u00e9toile pour les world marathon majors.
