Je viens de m&rsquo;apercevoir &#8211; mieux vaut tard que jamais &#8211; que je n&rsquo;avais jamais expliqu\u00e9 de quoi il s&rsquo;agissait.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/courirlongtemps.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3720\" title=\"courirlongtemps\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/courirlongtemps-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/courirlongtemps-231x300.jpg 231w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/courirlongtemps.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 231px) 100vw, 231px\" \/><\/a>J&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert l&rsquo;<strong>EMA<\/strong> en pr\u00e9parant mon Marathon de Paris avec <strong>Bruno Heubi<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.brunoheubi.com\">http:\/\/www.brunoheubi.com<\/a>). En apart\u00e9, sachez que pour r\u00e9ussir votre marathon dans le temps que vous vous \u00eates imparti, il n&rsquo;y a rien de tel que de suivre un plan concoct\u00e9 par Bruno, directement ou \u00e0 partir de son excellent livre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.fr\/Courir-longtemps-cl%C3%A9s-pour-r%C3%A9ussir\/dp\/295139716X\">\u00ab\u00a0Courir Longtemps\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> &#8211; pour ceux qui suivent les plans des revues, \u00e7a va leur faire tout dr\u00f4le mais &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Alors une s\u00e9ance <strong>EMA<\/strong> c&rsquo;est quoi ? Un copier \/ coller sauvage de \u00ab\u00a0Courir Longtemps\u00a0\u00bb nous indique qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une vitesse de course qui sollicite un certain pourcentage de la <a href=\"\/tableau-calcul-vma\/\"target=\"_top\" title=\"VMA\" >VMA<\/a> (entra\u00eenement fractionn\u00e9 ou continu de courses courues \u00e0 des intensit\u00e9s allant de 80 \u00e0 90% de la VMA) afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;utiliser le \u00ab\u00a0moteur\u00a0\u00bb du coureur en fonction de la course qu&rsquo;il pr\u00e9pare. Diable &#8230; Soyons un peu plus clair : L\u2019Endurance Maximale A\u00e9robie est la vitesse correspondant \u00e0 la\u00a0 plus grande fraction d\u2019utilisation possible de la VMA en fonction de la dur\u00e9e de l\u2019effort. Pour r\u00e9sumer : vous voulez courir 20 minutes \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 fond\u00a0\u00bb et bien ce sera \u00e0 une vitesse \u00e9gale \u00e0 votre <strong>EMA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00eame copier\/coller sauvage de \u00ab\u00a0Courir Longtemps\u00a0\u00bb nous apprend que pour d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;EMA, il faut d&rsquo;abord calculer votre Indice d&rsquo;Endurance (IE). Pour information, le num\u00e9ro de juillet de <strong>ZATOPEK<\/strong> y consacre une pleine page. Dans \u00ab\u00a0Courir Longtemps\u00a0\u00bb, Bruno Heubi nous en donne la d\u00e9finition suivante : c&rsquo;est la pente de la droite qui donne le pourcentage de VMA en fonction du logarithme du temps de course. Waow ! C&rsquo;est donc un chiffre n\u00e9gatif car plus on court longtemps moins on court vite (si, si).<\/p>\n<p>Pour calculer votre IE, vous prenez donc votre meilleur r\u00e9sultat sur une comp\u00e9tition (un 10km par exemple) ainsi que votre VMA, mesur\u00e9e par un test normalis\u00e9 ou sur un demi-Cooper &#8211; tr\u00e8s simple \u00e0 faire tout seul mais moins pr\u00e9cis\u00a0: courir 6 minutes \u00e0 fond et calculer la vitesse moyenne sur le parcours. Vous transformez votre vitesse moyenne sur la comp\u00e9tition de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en pourcentage de votre VMA (vitesse \/ VMA x100). Appelons ce nombre %VMA &#8230; On obtient IE de la fa\u00e7on suivante : IE = (%VMA-100)\/Ln (temps de votre comp\u00e9tition\/6).\u00a0 Ouf ! Beaucoup plus simple : vous pouvez utiliser ce petit calculateur on-line : <a href=\"http:\/\/sportech.online.fr\/sptc_idx.php?pge=spfr_ese.html\">http:\/\/sportech.online.fr\/sptc_idx.php?pge=spfr_ese.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cet Indice d&rsquo;Endurance, permet de\u00a0d\u00e9terminer la dur\u00e9e maximale d&rsquo;effort que vous pouvez tenir en continu \u00e0 des vitesses comprises entre 80 et 90% de VMA, \u00e0 l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement. Par exemple, avec un Indice d&rsquo;Endurance de -4 vous devez pouvoir tenir 111 minutes \u00e0 80% de VMA et 92 minutes \u00e0 85%. Par contre, si vous avez un \u00ab\u00a0mauvais\u00a0\u00bb Indice d&rsquo;Endurance, prenons l&rsquo;exemple de -10, vous pourrez tenir : 31 minutes \u00e0 80% et 20 minutes \u00e0 85%. Plus votre indice d&rsquo;endurance est \u00e9loign\u00e9 de z\u00e9ro, plus vous devez donc privil\u00e9gier ces s\u00e9ances afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer vos capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 tenir des efforts longs. Vous trouverez des tableaux donnant ces dur\u00e9es dans le livre \u00ab\u00a0Courir Longtemps\u00a0\u00bb ou sur\u00a0le site de Bruno\u00a0Heubi. Un extrait :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Heubi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7268\" title=\"Heubi\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Heubi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"661\" height=\"128\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Heubi.jpg 661w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Heubi-300x58.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Avec ces valeurs, vous pouvez maintenant construire votre s\u00e9ance \u00ab\u00a0hebdo\u00a0\u00bb EMA (tous les 5 jours en pr\u00e9vision de comp\u00e9tition, tous les 8 \u00e0 10 jours en entretien) en sachant que vous pouvez soit courir ces dur\u00e9es en continu (en limitant cependant la dur\u00e9e d&rsquo;effort, r\u00e9cup comprises, entre 40 minutes et 1h), soit les fractionner, dans ce cas vous pouvez l\u00e9g\u00e8rement les allonger tout en restant dans un total maximum d&rsquo;une heure.
