Mais le chantier est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre simple : 1,9 km de natation en eau libre, 93 km de v\u00e9lo avec 9 ascensions et pas un centim\u00e8tre de plat et un semi-marathon avec quelques faux plats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est la premi\u00e8re fois que je prendrai part \u00e0 un triathlon de ce format et comme \u00e0 chaque fois que j&rsquo;augmente les distances, que j&rsquo;augmente la difficult\u00e9,&#8230; Toujours cette impression de ne pas \u00eatre \u00e0 la hauteur, de ne pas \u00eatre assez entrain\u00e9,&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je n&rsquo;ai jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 suivi par un coach, je n&rsquo;ai jamais suivi un plan d&rsquo;<a href=\"\/blog\/plan-d-entrainement-comment-lire-entre-les-lignes-17508.html\"target=\"_top\" title=\"entrainement\" >entrainement<\/a> \u00e0 la lettre. Tout simplement parce que je trouve que c&rsquo;est une contrainte suppl\u00e9mentaire dans une vie o\u00f9 il en existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 trop. C&rsquo;est sans doute un tort&#8230; Ca pourrait sans doute me rassurer d&rsquo;avoir un professionnel qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 accompagn\u00e9 des novices comme moi sur ce type de projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-66947\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart-620x414.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/triathlon-xl-depart.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> J&rsquo;ai volontairement choisi cette photo du d\u00e9part, ce moment o\u00f9 tout le monde est pr\u00eat pour le d\u00e9part mais peut \u00eatre pas pour la course, pour aller jusqu&rsquo;au bout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ne fait aucun doute que je ne ferai pas un exploit quand je sais que la plupart des meilleurs seront au d\u00e9part du triathlon XL de G\u00e9rardmer (m\u00eame si il y aura peut-\u00eatre moins de densit\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 cause des championnats du monde d&rsquo;Half-ironman qui se d\u00e9roule le m\u00eame week-end \u00e0 Nice). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tout cas, \u00e0 5 semaines de l&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nement, je pense que je ne me suis pas m\u00e9nag\u00e9 depuis quelques mois, j&rsquo;ai couru pas moins de 3 triathlons distance olympique dont un que j&rsquo;ai doubl\u00e9 avec un format S sur la m\u00eame journ\u00e9e. Je fais r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des semaines \u00e0 plus de 10 heures d&rsquo;entrainement et j&rsquo;avale des centaines de kilom\u00e8tres en v\u00e9lo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le week-end dernier, je suis retourn\u00e9 \u00e0 G\u00e9rardmer pour faire l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanarun.net\/blog\/velo-triathlon-xl-de-gerardmer-66720.html\">int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 du parcours v\u00e9lo<\/a>. Je pense que c&rsquo;est la cl\u00e9 de cette course avec son enchainement de grosses bosses (voire de cols). J&rsquo;ai tout de m\u00eame mis 4h20 pour faire les 93 kilom\u00e8tres. Mais la semaine d&rsquo;entrainement avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rude, je n&rsquo;\u00e9tais pas aussi frais que j&rsquo;esp\u00e8re l&rsquo;\u00eatre le jour de la course (j&rsquo;avais encore mal aux jambes de la semaine de mont\u00e9es que j&rsquo;avais fait 2 jours auparavant).
