J\u2019ai longtemps attendu pour sauter le pas car cette distance fait peur puisqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de la distance half-ironman : 1900m de natation, 90 km de v\u00e9lo et 21 km de course \u00e0 pied cela devrait m\u2019amener vers au moins 7 heures d\u2019effort puisque c\u2019est quasiment le double d\u2019un distance olympique que je cours en un peu plus de 3 heures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019an dernier j\u2019ai un peu tard\u00e9 \u00e0 m\u2019inscrire sur cette distance et comme je voulais rester \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de chez moi, j\u2019ai rat\u00e9 les inscriptions pour le half-ironman du Luxembourg. Mais peu importe l\u2019autre inscription \u00e9tait encore plus logique m\u00eame si je sais que cela sera plus dur. En effet, je me suis inscrit au Triathlon XL de G\u00e9rardmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis finalement content de ce choix car c\u2019est une \u00e9preuve mythique, j\u2019ai couru tous les autres formats : S et M \u00e0 plusieurs reprises et \u00e0 chaque fois j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 cette \u00e9preuve unique et hors norme par son cadre, son ambiance, son parcours,\u2026 Mais aussi les Vosges, mon d\u00e9partement de naissance, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 j\u2019ai fait mon premier triathlon (avec la m\u00eame \u00e9quipe organisatrice)\u2026 C\u2019est finalement une suite logique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le triathlon de G\u00e9rardmer est une \u00e9preuve r\u00e9put\u00e9e dur sur le circuit en France et en Europe avec un parcours v\u00e9lo avec quelques cols \u00e0 franchir.
