Comme quoi la volont\u00e9 est souvent le moteur de bien des d\u00e9fis. Depuis longtemps, on en parlait, il aimait connaitre mes d\u00e9fis, les courses que je pr\u00e9parais et il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&rsquo;arr\u00eater de fumer et de faire du v\u00e9lo. Il me disait \u00ab\u00a0un jour je ferai un triathlon avec toi\u00a0\u00bb et il y a tout juste un an, j&rsquo;ai pris les devants, je l&rsquo;ai inscrit \u00e0 G\u00e9rardmer, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les \u00e9lites c\u00f4toient les d\u00e9butants et je lui ai dit \u00ab\u00a0tu es inscrit, il te reste 11 mois pour te pr\u00e9parer\u00a0\u00bb&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Le froid de ce jour de septembre ne l&rsquo;a pas arr\u00eat\u00e9, \u00e0 8h du matin nous \u00e9tions au bord du lac alors que le thermom\u00e8tre affichait 6 petits degr\u00e9s, nous nous sommes lanc\u00e9s dans le lac avec les centaines d&rsquo;autres, on est rest\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re car le premier d\u00e9part dans la lessiveuse fait toujours peur. il m&rsquo;avait annonc\u00e9 sa feuille de route, j&rsquo;ai jou\u00e9 le li\u00e8vre en respectant au maximum le timing.<\/p>\n<p>On est parti doucement, pour le rassurer. En surveillant ma montre, je savais exactement o\u00f9 nous en \u00e9tions. Il avait peur d&rsquo;\u00eatre dernier mais peut importe ce n&rsquo;est pas ce qui compte et en plus nous ne l&rsquo;\u00e9tions pas. il y avait malheureusement quelques abandons dans l&rsquo;eau. Comme le dit le slogan du triathlon de G\u00e9rardmer : DNF is not option. On est donc l\u00e0 pour finir.<\/p>\n<p>Nous arrivons dans la zone de transition avec 30 secondes d&rsquo;avance, mais nous avons pris une minute avant de d\u00e9marrer le chrono mais je sais que la partie la plus facile pour lui arrive : le v\u00e9lo. On gagne encore 30 secondes sur la transition (il avait vu large). On est dans le timing sur le chrono officiel. On a rattrap\u00e9 la minute qu&rsquo;on avait pris au d\u00e9part pour ne pas partir en m\u00eame temps que tout le groupe.<\/p>\n<p>Le v\u00e9lo se passe bien, on grille fi\u00e8rement les stops devant les gendarmes et on en rigole. On attaque la difficult\u00e9 avec le col \u00e0 gravir, je passe devant sans faire de drafting, j&rsquo;imprime le rythme, je garde un rythme raisonnable mais de quoi se donner de la motivation en doublant quelques concurrents. Durant toute la mont\u00e9e, on va doubler au fur et \u00e0 mesure. En haut de la c\u00f4te, il est encore plus motiv\u00e9 et on se lance dans une belle descente. On roule fort et on double toujours. Le soleil est l\u00e0 et nous accompagne. On reste largement dans le timing, je ne dis rien mais je sais qu&rsquo;on en train de gagner du temps (beaucoup de temps) sur la feuille de route. <\/p>\n<p>On arrive sur la transition avec une bonne avance, il nous reste \u00e0 faire les 5 kilom\u00e8tres de course \u00e0 pied, le but est de ne pas craquer et de courir tout au long du parcours. Le parcours est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre plat&#8230; Ca monte et \u00e7a descend, il faut rappeler qu&rsquo;on est dans les Vosges. <\/p>\n<p>Je le motive encore plus que sur le reste du parcours, je sais qu&rsquo;il est moins \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise en course \u00e0 pied mais on arrive progressivement vers l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, \u00e0 quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres, il essaye de me fausser compagnie, nous voil\u00e0 lancer dans un sprint.
