Surprenant, on apprend que le meilleur marcheur du monde, le d\u00e9tenteur du record du monde du 50 kilom\u00e8tres de marche, s&rsquo;entraine en partie sur un v\u00e9lo. \u00a0Effectivement, si l&rsquo;on d\u00e9compose la course \u00e0 pied en deux\u00a0parties :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>le mouvement : la capacit\u00e9 de nos muscles (principalement dans nos jambes) de faire avancer notre corps<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;endurance : la capacit\u00e9 de notre coeur d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e9ner les muscles pour reproduire le mouvement de la mani\u00e8re la plus efficiente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si le mouvement du v\u00e9lo et celui de la course \u00e0 pied son diff\u00e9rent, on peut sans aucun doute conclure que l&rsquo;endurance est un point commun entre ces deux sports. Il est donc assez normal de faire du v\u00e9lo en compl\u00e9ment de la course \u00e0 pied, c&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs ce que conseille de plus en plus d&rsquo;entraineurs.<\/p>\n<p>La raison est simple, il faut se souvenir que la course \u00e0 pied est une succession d&rsquo;impacts, m\u00eame si votre corps s&rsquo;habitue avec le temps \u00e0 ce type d&rsquo;effort, c&rsquo;est donc tout \u00e0 fait logique de remplacer des s\u00e9ances par des sports dit \u00ab\u00a0port\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb : principalement natation et cyclisme.<\/p>\n<p>Certaines argumentent dans ce sens en disant que les triathl\u00e8tes se blessent statistiquement moins que les coureurs : si je suis d&rsquo;accord avec l&rsquo;id\u00e9e derri\u00e8re cette affirmation, je ne suis pas d&rsquo;accord avec l&rsquo;argument. On ne peut pas consid\u00e9rer les populations (coureurs et triathl\u00e8tes) comme identiques. Souvent les triathl\u00e8tes sont des sportifs majoritairement mieux entrain\u00e9s et plus avertis ce qui fausse donc compl\u00e8tement la comparaison.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ma part, je pratique l&rsquo;<a href=\"\/blog\/plan-d-entrainement-comment-lire-entre-les-lignes-17508.html\"target=\"_top\" title=\"entrainement\" >entrainement<\/a> crois\u00e9 depuis que je fais du triathlon, donc compl\u00e8tement involontairement. C&rsquo;est le triathlon qui m&rsquo;a impos\u00e9 la diversification des entrainements et non pas la possibilit\u00e9 des entrainements\u00a0\u00a0crois\u00e9s qui m&rsquo;a fait d\u00e9couvrir le triathlon.
