Et non, je ne ferai pas comme les Fr\u00e8res Jacques &#8211; pour les plus vieux d&rsquo;entre vous &#8211; ou Johnny &#8211; pour les un peu moins vieux &#8211; mes adieux pour mieux revenir ensuite. J&rsquo;avais encore deux-trois bricoles \u00e0 raconter. Un peu n\u00e9gatives d&rsquo;ailleurs les bricoles : une sur l&rsquo;utilisation en comp\u00e9tition du Garmin, l&rsquo;autre sur la pr\u00e9cision de la vitesse (\u00e0 la demande de Matthieu).<\/p>\n<p>Pour g\u00e9rer intelligemment ce qui furent finalement <a href=\"http:\/\/fredbros.blogspot.com\/2009\/10\/20k-de-paris-objectifs-tenus.html\">mes brillantissimes 20 km de Paris<\/a>, j&rsquo;avais pens\u00e9 na\u00efvement que je pourrais programmer le ForeRunner 405cx pour qu&rsquo;il me bippe si je sortais d&rsquo;une page de vitesse ou d&rsquo;<a href=\"\/blog\/allure-et-vitesse-la-difference-2324.html\"target=\"_top\" title=\"Allure ou vitesse\" >allure<\/a> que j&rsquo;aurais d\u00e9fini \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance. <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Et bien, figurez-vous que le Training Center ne le permet pas !<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Certes, vous pouvez programmer une plage d&rsquo;allure \u00e0 respecter mais parmi une gamme pr\u00e9d\u00e9finie \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance. Impossible donc de lui demander du 4&prime;-4&rsquo;30, vous n&rsquo;avez droit qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la plage COURSE qui couvre une bande passante d&rsquo;allures comprises entre 3&rsquo;40 et 4&rsquo;40 (\u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s) ou alors vous avez droit \u00e0 une programmation libre &#8230; en tours\/min &#8211; et oui, le ForeRunner est aussi utilis\u00e9 par les cyclistes &#8211; dont il est impossible de changer l&rsquo;unit\u00e9<\/span>. <em><strong>NON C&rsquo;EST FAUX !!!<\/strong> Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 tous vos commentaires, je me suis rendu compte que ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas le\u00a0Training Center\u00a0qui ne le permettait pas mais le sombre idiot qui l&rsquo;utilisait et qui n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 capable de d\u00e9rouler un menu d\u00e9roulant jusqu&rsquo;au mot \u00ab\u00a0personnalis\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb &#8230;<\/em> Au final, j&rsquo;en ai \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duit &#8211; <em>bien fait, je n&rsquo;avais qu&rsquo;\u00e0 savoir mieux utiliser le Garmin <\/em>&#8211; \u00e0 suivre ma vitesse instantan\u00e9e et \u00e0 essayer de la garder aux environs de 14 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>La vitesse, justement, parlons-en. Matthieu, dans son article sur le <a href=\"\/blog\/test\/montre-gps\/suunto\"target=\"_top\" title=\"Montre suunto\" >Suunto<\/a>, me demandait si celle-ci ne fluctuait pas trop. Avant de lui r\u00e9pondre,\u00a0il faut savoir, d\u00e9j\u00e0, que le Training Center ne permet pas d&rsquo;afficher \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cran une courbe de\u00a0suivi en vitesse, uniquement un suivi en allure. La vitesse est affich\u00e9e dans un tableau : vitesse moyenne sur le circuit et vitesse maxi.<\/p>\n<p>Un circuit est une portion de parcours que vous avez pr\u00e9alablement d\u00e9finie. Soit de mani\u00e8re standard, par exemple, un km ou 100m ou 500m ou 10cm si cela vous amuse. Soit de mani\u00e8re \u00ab\u00a0technique\u00a0\u00bb, dans ce cas, le circuit repr\u00e9sente une phase d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement ou de course dans laquelle vous faites la m\u00eame chose. Verstanden ? Par exemple, pour mes 20km de Paris, j&rsquo;avais programm\u00e9 deux circuits : 2 km en allure libre (le d\u00e9part, la foire, le bazar, les trottoirs, les lents \u00e9gar\u00e9s parmi les cadors &#8230; vous voyez ce que je veux dire) puis 18 km en allure course. Ce qui fait, comptez-bien : 2 circuits. Les deux modes de programmation, standard et \u00ab\u00a0technique\u00a0\u00bb, semblent d&rsquo;ailleurs incompatibles, je n&rsquo;ai pas pu r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer mes temps sur chaque kilom\u00e8tre alors que cette option est activ\u00e9e en standard pour mes entra\u00eenements libres.<\/p>\n<p>Revenons \u00e0 la vitesse, sachez que dimanche, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le mur du son avec <strong>une vitesse maxi \u00e0 1291 km\/h<\/strong> (je suppute une division par z\u00e9ro quelque peu malencontreuse, lors d&rsquo;un arr\u00eat tempestif &#8211; le contraire &#8230; d&rsquo;intempestif-, si vous vous rappelez <a href=\"http:\/\/fredbros.blogspot.com\/2009\/10\/20k-de-paris-objectifs-tenus.html\">ma course)<\/a>. Une telle vitesse maxi, explique sans doute ma performance finale. Comme quoi l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement en VMA \u00e7a paie ! Usain, tiens-toi bien, j&rsquo;arrive ! J&rsquo;avoue humblement qu&rsquo;habituellement ma vitesse maxi est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieure au millier de km\/h, il faut sans doute mettre ce r\u00e9sultat soit sur le compte de la motivation li\u00e9e \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition soit de mani\u00e8re plus probable sur ma supputation sus-cit\u00e9e\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Tr\u00eave de plaisanterie, le suivi en allure propos\u00e9 par le Garmin est, normalement, relativement solide et peu soumis \u00e0 des oscillations intempestives, si tant est que la vitesse soit \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Je l&rsquo;ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses reprises, quel que soit l&rsquo;endroit o\u00f9 je cours. Ci-dessous, une copie d&rsquo;\u00e9cran sur un test de 3&rsquo;20 au kilom\u00e8tre sur piste que j&rsquo;ai fait vendredi soir. Les puristes constateront une perturbation basse fr\u00e9quence dont je n&rsquo;ai pas d\u00e9termin\u00e9 la cause, mais \u00e0 part cela, rien de bien m\u00e9chant. Vous noterez \u00e9galement au passage les plages d&rsquo;allure pr\u00e9d\u00e9finies dont je vous ai parl\u00e9 tant\u00f4t.<\/p>\n<p>Par contre, j&rsquo;ai constat\u00e9, sur des sorties \u00e0 allure nettement plus mod\u00e9r\u00e9e que les oscillations autour de la valeur instantan\u00e9e \u00e9taient de fr\u00e9quence et d&rsquo;amplitude beaucoup plus grandes, une succession de sinuso\u00efdes autour du nominal. Par contre, il est relativement\u00a0facile, \u00e0 la lecture, d&rsquo;\u00e9cr\u00eater ces perturbations.
