Y prendre quelques affaires, un tee-shirt, un coupe vent, des chaussettes et un short. Se souvenir de la m\u00e9t\u00e9o qu\u2019il fera demain et y rajouter pourquoi pas un cuissard, le sleep qui va avec et une veste pour l\u2019\u00e9chauffement. Puis se dirigez vers le placard \u00e0 chaussures ou plut\u00f4t l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 elles sont entass\u00e9es\u2026 Car entre les trails, les routes, les vieilles et les plus neuves, c\u2019est un empilement de godasses plus qu\u2019un vrai rangement.<\/p>\n<p>Attrapez les plus neuves, celles de route, car demain c\u2019est sur bitume. Pas comme en trail o\u00f9 l\u2019on h\u00e9site souvent entre les trails et les routes jusqu\u2019au bout\u2026 en essayant d\u2019anticiper sur l\u2019\u00e9tat du sentier\u2026 Puis se dirigez vers le frigo, y choper au passage deux ou trois barres de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales ou \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques pour emporter avec soi pour l\u2019\u00e9preuve. Ou pas. Demain c\u2019est pas du long, alors c\u2019est s\u00fbr : pas de Camel\u2026 Ouf c\u2019est \u00e7a de moins \u00e0 s\u2019occuper. Pas de matos obligatoire non plus ! Zut, ne pas oublier les \u00e9pingles\u2026 Prendre au passage un vieux dossard o\u00f9 il y en a encore d\u2019accroch\u00e9es dessus\u2026 Glisser aussi sa licence ou son certif dans le sac.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin vient le repas du soir. Un petit verre de vin, une petite bi\u00e8re ? Juste la veille de le course, c\u2019est un peu limite non? Et les p\u00e2tes, toujours les p\u00e2tes\u2026 Manger trop au risque d\u2019\u00eatre lourd au d\u00e9marrage demain matin\u2026 Manger presque rien avec la crainte de manquer de carburant. Tant pis, se laisser aller, faire comme d\u2019hab\u2026 De toute fa\u00e7on, ce n\u2019est pas si grave. Juste une course comme tant d\u2019autres\u2026 Et puis il faut aller se coucher. On aimerait bien regarder un peu plus la t\u00e9l\u00e9 et on se dit qu\u2019une bonne nuit de sommeil, bien pleine, \u00e7a peut pas faire de mal. Mais l\u2019excitation est l\u00e0 aussi et ce n\u2019est pas toujours facile de fermer l\u2019oeil aussit\u00f4t. On pense \u00e0 l\u2019effort \u00e0 fournir\u2026 ce n\u2019est pas fait pour se calmer. Toujours une sorte de crainte de ce qui va arriver\u2026 Le lendemain tout s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e8re. Mais il ne faut pas arriver en retard sur les lieux. Et est-ce qu\u2019on a pens\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre de l\u2019essence ? Ce serait b\u00eate tout de m\u00eame de ne jamais arriver sur place\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Alors r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer son dossard, serrer des mains et dire bonjour, boire son petit caf\u00e9 toujours offert par l\u2019organisation (du moins avant le d\u00e9part !) et allez se changer. Dans sa voiture le plus souvent. Enfilez son short arcbout\u00e9 dans l\u2019habitacle. Les coureurs sont des contorsionnistes, c\u2019est bien connu\u2026 Pensez aussi \u00e0 boire. Une gorg\u00e9e, deux gorg\u00e9es. Pas plus de peur d\u2019avoir le ventre en ballotage. Enfilez le tee-shirt, lacez ses chaussures et puis, si il faut, placer sa puce. Pas \u00e9vident de la coincer d\u2019ailleurs. Peur de la perdre sur le chemin. Pas class\u00e9 au final, ce serait b\u00eate aussi. Et \u00e9pingler son dossard. Essayer de le mettre bien droit mais ne pas se piquer les doigts, ni le torse d\u2019ailleurs. Tout un art. Le coureur n\u2019est-il pas aussi un ma\u00eetre es-\u00e9pinglage ? Et puis allez s\u2019\u00e9chauffer. Retrouvez quelques potes. Discuter de choses et d\u2019autres, sentir la pression qui monte. Avoir envie soudain d\u2019aller au petit coin. Le chercher partout ce petit coin. Une seule chiotte pour trois cent partants. Choisir la nature par d\u00e9faut. Et se d\u00e9p\u00eacher de peur de rater le d\u00e9part ! Etre fin pr\u00eat et attendre sur la ligne\u2026 en se disant qu\u2019on est plus vraiment \u00e9chauff\u00e9\u2026 qu\u2019on se refroidit vite ainsi sans bouger\u2026 Penser \u00e0 ses proches et \u00e0 l\u2019effort \u00e0 venir. Si proche.Et c\u2019est parti. Enfin !!!
